Pompei

This is another story of 'if I wasn't so hot I would care'. Blech I feel so gross.

Got up at 830 this morning with a sore throat but it cleared up by the end of the day whoop whoop!
Had breakfast and out the door. Caught the bus to the train station and got a train to pompeii.

The train was hot and smelly and took like 50 min. When we got there we decided to have lunch before tackling the ruins. I had a panini ala caprese (tomato and mozzarella with basil). I love their mozza here in italy, so fresh!

Anyways, went into the ruins.... no audio guide, no guide, no map. What a mistake. Didn't get to see everything before we died of heat exhaustion... boo. Good thing was it was nice and quiet and it is so big there aren't a lot of people.

and it was straight back to Napoli and the hostel to shower.

Tomorrow we fly to Paris and I am so happy to be back in a normal climate. May even get to use a sweater again. I suppose I could be like the crazy people here and wear black sweaters and pants but then I would surely die. I don't know how they can do it.... and don't tell me they are used to it cause I saw Italians sweating in Capri!!

Anyways, our flight is at 2pm so it will be check out and hang out at the airport which is a ok with me!!! T-9 sleeps till I am home!!!
